Non shook her head. She had just happened to be at the right place at the right time and was able to help. She had never thought of getting any kind of reward
“Ms. Sinclair, there’s nothing that I read, actually. I’m just here to deliver some papers, and I’ve done that, so I’m going back now, Nora said as the turned away, wanting to take the opportunity to make a quick getaway

It seemed like Andrew wasn’t willing to budge from his position and ting benveen him and Nora were about to come to a head
Samantha stepped forward then to shield Non, garing gromply at Andrew. “Show what? Why does she need to prove her
innocence?
“Andrew, this person saved my baby’s life. And the’s jut a young lady. Why are you bullying her?”
Samantha now realized she was sorely mistaken. She had thought that her brother was having some kind of secret. panionate love affair with a beatiful woman, bet it turned out that he was still just his usual aggressive, overbearing self
When will this boy learnt At this rate, he’s never going to find a wife, Samantha lamented in her heart.
“Samantha, this is a mater between me and her. I don’t have anything against her. I’m just looking for confirmation” Andrew explained
It was only natural that suspicions be investigated. After all, the handwriting on the sheet was almost identical. It was too similar to ignore.
Andrew was definitely not going to let this go until he had a clear answer.
Nora’s patience was running dangerously low. She had an overwhelming dislike for guys like Andrew who didn’t know whzem to call it quits.
She’d offered him an easy way to let the matter go, but since he was so insistent, she would just have to do it the hard way.
In an instant, the hostility that Nora had towards Andrew receded into her body, and she cowered behind Samantha. When

she spoke, her voice was soft and meck. “Samantha, Mr. Sinclair has some misunderstanding towards me. He thinks I took something of his so he wants to search my body.”
Calling his virginity something, that was a smart move.
Andrew frowned as he looked past his sister and stared intently at Nora.
Samantha might buy the act, but he wouldn’t. Why was she pretending to be a frail little lamb?
Realizing that Andrew wasn’t refuting Nora’s claims, Samantha felt her anger rise, and she said gravely, “What could she have taken? The security here is top–notch. Nothing goes in or out without security knowing.
“How could you suspect a kind lady like her of taking something? Andrew, please, don’t be ridiculous.”
“She took my…” Andrew had started to argue, but found himself unable to continue.
Accusing a girl of taking his virginity, in front of his own sister? He would never live it down.
Nora had anticipated Andrew’s reluctance, so she’d used it to her advantage and played the victim.
“Took your what? Come on Andrew, are you a brat? Why are you going to such lengths to make things difficult for Nora? And you even went all military on her and threatened to search her.” Samantha chided.
Andrew was at a complete loss for words.
Nora tugged at Samantha’s sleeve, saying softly, “I’m actually here representing Kayson Designs as a designer, but Mr. Sinclair rejected our drawings because of a personal grudge. I don’t know how I’m going to face my boss.”
Samantha responded without hesitation, “Don’t worry. I got you.”
Samantha was heady with excitement at being able to help Nora out. She sure wouldn’t mind becoming friends with such a reliable and capable person like Nora.
urning to Andrew, she said in an authoritative tone, “Andrew, approve the drawings.”
Andrew wasn’t having it. “Come on Samantha, you know I’m not one to mix business with personal matters. I rejected the designs simply because they weren’t good enough. My decisions are based solely on the interests of the company.”
“Well…” Samantha knew what her brother said to be true. She was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
At that moment, Nora made a suggestion. “Since you won’t reject the drawings because of a personal grudge, then how about giving me a chance to redesign it?”
Andrew looked skeptical. He didn’t deny her medical skills, but to put such an important project in the hands of a trainee designer left a bad taste in his mouth.
Nora seemed to guess what he was thinking and she assured him, “Don’t worry. I’ll only need ten minutes of your time. If you’re not satisfied with it, I’ll take the draft back and the entire department will go back to the drawing board.”
“Fine.” Andrew agreed.
Nora walked to Andrew’s desk to take a piece of paper and a pen and immediately got to work.
With smooth, decisive strokes, Nora worked on her design, and in no time at all, she completed the sketches of Sinclair Group’s summer gems series, even including a matching earrings and bracelet design.

The light blue heart–shaped pendent of the necklace seemed to contain the stars and the sea, and the chain seemed to resemble a wave. It gave the impression of being caressed by a light sea breeze.
As a jewelry connoisseur, Samantha couldn’t help but clap her hands in surprise. “It’s absolutely gorgeous, Andrew. I love it so much, we have to make this,” she gushed.
Andrew was also taken aback. He had rejected dozens of designs, but he had instantly taking a liking to Nora’s drawing, and it was already worthy of approval,
It was perfectly fitting to the theme of the Sinclair Group’s summer jewelry theme, Breeze.
He stole a glance at his watch. Exactly eight minutes had passed since Nora put pen to paper.
The theme was a closely guarded secret, so she couldn’t have known about it beforehand. Yet she managed to create such a wonderful design in such a short time.
Andrew stared at Nora and began to wonder about her true identity. He couldn’t believe that such a talented person was really just a trainee designer.
“Well, Mr. Sinclair. What do you think?” Nora asked.
“Approved.” He didn’t beat about the bush. “Here’s the contract. I’ve signed it.”
Nora took the document from his hand. “Thanks for that.”
She’d not only resolved the issue of the birthmark, but also successfully secured the business contract.
Nora hung her head low, but there was a smug smile at the corner of her mouth. She had completely beaten Andrew this round.
Samantha also took the opportunity to exchange socials with Nora, asking if it was possible to order custom jewelry from her. Nora said she’d have to think about it.
Samantha couldn’t help but stare after Nora as she left. Her eyes were filled to the brim with fondness.
“Isn’t she perfect? She’s so capable yet demure,” she said.
Capable, yes. Andrew had witnessed that first hand.
But demure?
Andrew had to concede that Nora deserved an Oscar for her performance.
