My mother glanced at me, hesitated, then pressed on with her story.
After Alina’s death, Alpha Troy and Luna Daisy moved fast to cover it up. They picked a new Luna for Finn–Daisy’s distant
niece, one of the accomplices in Alina’s murder.
My mother was heartbroken. After wrestling with herself, she decided to take a risk.
She’d refined mandrake into a poison that could cloud minds and drive people mad. Then she told the Alpha and Luna
she’d created a potion to extend Finn’s life. If they spared me, she’d share the formula.
To earn their trust, she tested the drug on herself.
Convinced by her test, Finn drank it, and his condition improved.
The Alpha and Luna were thrilled, their guard dropping. So my mother seized her chance, slipping the poison into Finn’s dose, making any Luna who got close to him lose her mind.
“Those women? Some helped kill my daughter. Others were power–hungry snakes, cozying up to the Alpha and Luna.”
“They all deserved to die!”
“My poor girl–so bright, so kind–ruined by their hands. How could I, her mother, let that slide?”
“I wanted everyone who hurt her to feel her pain, her despair!”
She succeeded. The next seven Lunas died gruesome deaths. The Blood Moon Pack became a cursed place, shunned by
all.
Alpha Troy, haunted by guilt–fueled nightmares, scared himself to death. When Luna Daisy finally sensed something was
wrong, she turned on our family.
But I’d already stepped up to uncover Alina’s truth, volunteering to be Finn’s Luna.
Tears streamed down my mother’s face, her hands trembling. “I didn’t want to drag Harper into this or tarnish Alina’s
name”
“So I vowed to kill Alpha Troy, Luna Daisy, Finn–anyone tied to you–and bury this secret forever.”
“To protect Harper, I used a potion to seal part of her memory. But I underestimated her bond with Alina. Harper risked
everything to seek justice.”
My stubbornness had unraveled this mess, leading to the chaos we faced now
As her words sank in, buried memories flooded back My tears fell, unstoppable.
Luna Daisy let out a hysterical scream “You old hag! I should’ve killed your whole family back then
“Alina got what she deserved–a restless slut who couldn’t stay in her place.”
“I did nothing wrong! I’m Luna Daisy! What’s wrong with punishing a filthy temptress?”
