As she was speaking, i could not help but shake my head. She did not get what I was trying to say.

I could feel her stare on me as she socked in what I had just said to her. “Wh–what do you mean?” She whispered to me. I could feel her anxiety flowing towards me and soon I felt bad, I should not
have made her feel this way but it was for her own good that she knew what would happen to her.
“You know that I am the mate of an Alpha…“, I murmured, it did not take me long to know that she was nodding her head so I continued on with what I was saying. “And you know that mates are everything to a werewolf. I felt really tired, more tired than usual. It was hard for me to keep my eyes open. I sat on the couch as I waited for Loanne to come back with food for the both of us. My mind wandered around that I did not hear the loud thunder rumbling outside.
“Gosh, it is already pouring out there!” said Loanne as she came into the living room. I blinked and tilted my head in confusion.
“It’s raining?” I questioned. I heard Loanne laugh as she placed the delicious food onto the living
room table.
“Yeah! You didn’t hear the loud thunder and the sound of pattering rain?” Loanne asked me.
I shrugged my shoulder in embarrassment as I folded my hands together. “Sorry… my mind
wandered so I was not paying attention to anything…” I said shyly.
Loanne laughed once more, “Of course you weren’t paying attention. You are so adorable Promise.” She said. I could hear the sound of plates moving around and i knew that she was putting food on
the plate for the both of us.
I felt bad knowing that she had to place food for me and sometimes help feed me. I felt so weak and useless. I felt her grab my hand as she placed my plate. I smiled and murmured a small thanks
before slowly lowering it down to my lap.
I lifted up my fork and was about to put the food into my mouth when a loud rumbling noise outside made an appearance. I froze a bit before putting the food in my mouth. “It’s really storming out
there huh?” I said to Loanne.
I could hear her chew and swallow before she replied. “Yeah, it probably will be storming up for the entire week.” She said before resuming back to her food.
Storming for the entire week? I could feel my mood go down a bit. I wanted to go outside for a bit until I had to stay in my bed. But then the more I thought about it raining for the entire week, the

“I wish I could but if I did rap for once, it will all just be mumbled like how Iggy Azalea raps.” I joked
Loanne laughed as she came over to me. “Oh yes, I can imagine that and how is she still famous? Like she can’t even rap for life..” Loanne said and we both ended up falling into fits of laughter.
