I stared down at her hand and looked back at her as I allowed the tears to fall down. “You’re right. It is a fresh wound, and i am still affected by it. How can ssomeone forget that they were abused and… and raped. Then left there to die inside a cold, and dirty cave that was located far away from everyone. They did that so no one can hear me… so no one can hear my cries of help. My cries of pain. They did it on purpose and knowing that was their intention is pure agony,” I said as my sobs racketed through my body. I felt her wrap her arms around me as she also allowed her tears to mix with mine. “I was in pain… and still am.” I whispered.
“I will make everything better for you… I swear.” She said to me. I moved away from her and looked at her. I can see sadness and hurt inside her eyes. “I didn’t catch your name..” I started off.
She looked at me before she answered. “Lily, my name is Lily.”
“Lily” Smiling faintly, I continued what I was going to say to her. “There is no point in making it better. What happened is done. I mean you see the scars that are laced on my body right?” I said raising my arms out for her to see. She paled and nodded her head. “I’m broken, I can never be the girl that I was before. That girl died a long time ago there is no one that can bring her back.” Lies, there was one person who brought that girl back…
“I am thankful that you are trying to make everything better, but you have to know that I am ot staying here forever. I have a life out there and there is nothing to keep me here.” She nodded her head and gave me a smile.
“Even if I can’t make everything better, I will be by your side no matter what. I think of you as my sister the moment that I talked to you. Promise, I won’t let them hurt you.” As she said that, it warmed my heart a bit. Smiling I nodded my head.
“Thank you.”
She shook her head and there we both sat in complete silence. Just enjoying each other’s company before we head down to get food. I was about to face the music I guess.

I leaned against the wall beside the room that Promise was staying in. I was crying once again as I heard what my sister said. I am ssuch a bad brother. I was never the protective brother that every girl had. Instead I was the one who abused her and made everyone do stuff to her for fun. Closing my eyes, I just hoped that she would forgive me. On the other side, i was glad that Lily, was going to be there for her, like how I wasn’t there.
I smiled softly as I heard their murmurs. They were getting along and that made me happy but it soon went away as I recalled the memory from that night.

That thought brought a slight pang to me. I won’t let hier die. I just got her back, I just got to see her, I will protect her like how I protect my mate and son. Standing up, giving her door a last glance. I went downstairs and decided to visit the pack house.
I needed to talk to Xavier.
When I reached the pack house, I walked in and saw many teens playing games, Smiling a bit, I turned and began to head to the direction of his office. It was strange that I didn’t see the Luna around. She probably is asleep or something. Shrugging it off, I knocked on the door.
“Come in.” Xavier’s voice called out.
Opening it, I was greeted by Xavier, Evan, Mark, Kyle, Tyler, and Marie. They all waved at me. I scrunched my eyebrows up and looked at Xavier. He gave me the look and I knew that look. He was going to tell them that Promise is back.
Smiling lightly, I walked in a took off my coat before I hanged it on the coatrack. “Hey Jay.” Marie said as I sat beside her. smiling, I didn’t reply back. I simply looked at the floor waiting for XAvier to
begin.
“So as I was saying, I called you all in here to tell you something.” Xavier said. I can feel everyone was really mystified. Meaning everyone which was Kyle, Tyler and Marie.
“Jayden… do you want to tell them? Or should I?” Xavier suddenly asked me. Looking up at him, I can see the many emotions running in his eyes. I sighed and nodded my head before I looked at
them.
