As we talked, and looked at the photos. We came across one photo. One photo that just brings bad memories. “This is the place where I want to go and see Aunty.” Nathan said to me as he pointed a the photo.
I looked at him and gave him a strained smile. “Yea?”
He nodded his little head excitedly. “Yea! Daddy said that this place is so scary but has many secrets to it. !”

“Daddy said that he would take me there! I hope it is soon though!” Nathan then added. I froze, I can already feel the puke slowly making its way up but I kept it down.

Staring at Jayden as he slowly made his way over into the opposite couch, he sat down and without a word he simply watched me. Let me tell you something, it was really unnerving when he began to do that. I stared back at him, I didn’t want him to have the satisfaction that I was scared.
I noticed that Jayden began to eye the album that was sitting in front of me. I looked at it and then back at him. “I see Nathan showed you some photos.” Jayden said, probably trying to ease the tension that was already beginning to form in the air.
I nodded my head slightly, and then I looked at Jayden. “Yes he did… and he did show me one particular photo.” I said before reaching inside the album and taking the photo out.
I threw it across the table for him to see, and I was pleased about his reaction. His yees widened and he slowly looked up at me before he moved the photo back into the album.
“Promise..” He started off but I cut him before he could finish. “WHAT LIES DID YOU TELL YOUR SON ABOUT THAT HORRID PLACE?!?” I whispered yelled at him. He flinched and looked down at his

“I just told him that the cave had some very cool rocks and that there was a lake in there t at night.” He whispered back to me.

“Then how come you all act as if nothing took place.” I said. I waited for him to talk and try to convince me that they were not acting at all, and yet there was no words tumbling out of his mouth. “Sec… you all are hiding the truth.” I said before turning around.
I felt him grab my arm, causing me to spin around and tug it away from his grasp. “Don.t Touch. Me!” I spat at him.
He dropped his hand and looked at me. “Promise listen to me… what happened is in the past! We can start-“A loud slap echoed throughout the house. My hand was burning and throbbing from how hard I slapped him. his head was now facing the left. There was no sound being spoken until I exploded at him.

at him. I didn’t know that we had guests enter the house but that didn’t stop me from letting out all my anger and pain at him.

or say anything. Turning my head towards the front door, I noticed that Xavier, Evan, Mark, my so
called parents, along with Jayden’s mate was standing at the door.
Some held pain and anguish in their eyes, while the other were just shocked. I let out a tiny sob as I
stared at them. “You guys were suppose to protect me… but all you did was hurt me even more…” I
said. I felt like it was aimed more towards my parents, and then my eyes moved over to Xavier who looked like he wanted to kill himself, as well as murder people. “You’re not mate material… If you were you would’ve protected me and not allowed the other boys to touch me and do unspeakable things. But you didn’t care… alll you cared about was your fucking reputation. Is that why you in with them? To not have your face ruined?” I said to him.

I can feel all the eyes aiming towards Xavier to see what he would say but of course, he didn’t say anything at all. “Well congratulations Xavier. You saved your reputation by raping your own mate who
you were suppose to protect.” I said.
Then I was off, I ran upstairs and into the room that I was staying in. Locking the door shut, I slowly turned around and leaned against the door. Slowly sliding down with more tears falling down. I began to unleash my pain and tears.

I was stunned for her to say that. It broke me heart. But before I could say anything, she was gone. I could hear a bedroom door being slammed shut and locked.
My wolf was telling me to run after her and clear things up. But I just couldn’t seem to do it. I knew that it would be best if I left her alone. Something must have triggered for her to be like this. And I know that if someone got a bad memory triggered they would attack and possibly end up hurting themselves if confronted.
“Did you guys really rape her?” Lily’s voice said as it trembled. We snapped our heads towards her to see her eyes held unshed tears. Her hand covering her mouth. She wasn’t staring at us anymore; us meaning Evan, Mark, and I; her full attention was on her mate, Jayden.
He opened his mouth like a fish drowning on land. and didn’t say a thing. “This is why she acted like this to all of you guys. You guys are the definition of a monster!” Lily said before she ran. Probably towards her room. Not soon after, Jayden ran after her but only to come back a minute later with a red mark on his face.
I watched him pick up the lamp on the table side and throw it across the room as it collided into the fireplace that thankfully was not burning.
“Calm down dear.” His mother said to him as he stood there shaking. He lifted his head and looked at us. I was shocked to say the least that he had tears in his eyes. “They both are right… we are the definition of monsters.” He whispered to us.
His mother slowly walked up to him and wrapped her arms around his trembling sight. It hurted

Looking over, I see his parents hugging each other as his mom was crying, I was glad that he got through his parents. Let me tell you, after Promise disappeared from the cave that we had left her there after we were done… her parents didn’t really care until a month later when they got back to their senses. Everyone got there senses back and we started trying our best to find her. But we always came up empty handed and we had no choice but to close her ‘case‘.

I looked over to see Evan with his head down, I know that for him to be doing this, he was really upset. I sighed and closed my eyes. All of the memories that I had locked away on purpose to start a new life with my wife, I decided that I should open them. As I did that, every scene of that night along with the other days that we had beat her to a bloody pulp; gave my heart a tight painful squeeze. Then is froze to two memories. “What do we do? To get her to forgive us” Her mother said to us as everyone was watching me. I looked up and stared at them as they all had teary eyes.
