Chapter 7
While still holding the torn wedding gown in his arms, Drew went upstairs and walked straight to my room.
The moment he pushed the door open, he could hardly believe what he was seeing
The room was completely empty. It had been transformed into a dance studio.
My bed, my clothes, and even the faintest trace of me were gone,
Drew clutched his chest. He felt a sharp ache inside.
He had always known I wasn’t valued in this family, but he never imagined I could be dismissed so completely.
I had only been gone for a month, and I couldn’t even keep my own room.
Suddenly, he understood how helpless and heartbroken I must have felt the day he abandoned me and left with Laura and Anne.
With that understanding came a deep wave of guilt and resentment. What kind of life had 1 been living all these years?
With a grim expression, Drew turned and left the room. He ran into Jake.
“Sienna’s your biological sister, isn’t she?”
That was all he said before walking away.
Jake looked into what used to be my room. He had rarely entered my room in the past. Usually, he only stood at the door and called my name.
Now, seeing how the room had been completely changed, he, too, felt a sudden sadness.
He may have disliked me, but blood ties couldn’t be denied.
No matter how he felt, he would never allow an outsider to bully me.

Just then, Anne slipped out of Jake’s arms and ran into the room. She began dancing. Her movements were practiced and graceful.
It was clear she had spent a lot of time rehearsing here.
She danced beautifully.
Right then, Eliza came upstairs with Laura. Her arm looped through Laura’s as she confronted Jake sternly.

“Did you two bully Laura? I’ve never seen her cry like that over something as silly as a wedding gown. Was that really necessary?”
She was about to say more until she saw the empty room.
Her expression changed, and she fell silent.
Anne finished her dance and ran over to Eliza.
“Grandma, did I do a good job?”
Eliza didn’t answer. She turned to Laura and spoke emotionlessly.
“What happened to everything that was in this room?”
۵
Laura wiped her eyes and answered sweetly, “I asked the maids to move the furniture to the basement. Anne needed space to dance. The bed and dresser were in the way. I didn’t want her to hurt herself.”
“I said you could let her dance in Sienna’s room. I never said you could touch her stuff.”
Laura pouted and protested.
“But the room’s so small. How else could Anne dance if we didn’t move everything out?”
Wiping her eyes again, she grabbed Anne’s hand and started walking out. Her voice filled with false remorse.
“Sorry for the trouble. I’ll leave with Anne.”
To her surprise, no one stopped her this time.
She had just reached the staircase when Eliza finally spoke.
“Fine. You should go back to your own house anyway.”
It was hard to say why, but Eliza had never really liked me.
Seeing my room treated like this somehow hurt her deeply.
She couldn’t help but direct some of that anger toward the daughter she had always doted on.
Laura froze in place. She turned around with a look of disbelief on her face.
She looked at Eliza before turning to Jake with a pleading look.
Jake didn’t even glance her way. Frowning, he called over the maids and instructed them, “Put everything in Sienna’s room back where it was.
“And from now on, no one is allowed to enter this room!”

His tone was stern, and the maids nodded in fear.
Laura stood at the staircase, watching Jake as he directed everyone. Her eyes darkened with hatred,
Eliza noticed. She saw the look in Laura’s eyes.
