Chapter 160
Viktor dug his hands into his coat pockets as he walked back to his car, unaware that his mouth had curved in a smile. The reston for it being the the be that had just filled his head.
Kamilla. She’d been so drunk with sleep earlier that morning that she hadn’t even realized he’d been standing right in front of her.
She’d dragged herself out of bed like a drunken doll and had stumbled over, planting her face right into his chest.
He’d been tempted then. Tempted to hold her chin and kiss those plump pink lips until she was wide awake. But with more effort than it took him before, he’d held back. And just when she became vaguely aware of his presence, he’d left her, knowing very well that she’d be scratching her head over the matter all day.
Three girls approaching him gasped up at his face, staring at him in awe and Viktor suddenly realized he had a wide smile on.
Immediately sobering up, he cleared his throat and wiped the smile off as the girls sent him flirty looks and walked past him.
“What a ddzzaddy! Can I get your number, please?” one of them whispered in her strange nasal voice, making her friends gizzle.
Viktor cringed. Sometimes his superior hearing was a burden.
He glanced across the campus lawn towards the gates and immediately stopped in his tracks.
What in the name of…?
Viktor’s mouth slowly dropped open as he watched Kamilla walk through the college gates like she’d come right off a runway. Her hair fell down her back in thick, sexy curls, bouncing with each step she took.
She smiled happily and came to a stop for a moment. Viktor was appalled to find that his throat had actually gotten dry. He, a Vampire King, was struck numb by the beauty of a half–Vamp. The woman had far too much power.
A ridiculous punk walked by Kamilla and uttered something that made her blush and smile at him. Viktor scowled. Who was that curly–haired blondie? He’d powder his bones!
Kamilla started walking again and Viktor forgot all about powdering people’s bones. Goodness, her legs looked twice as long beneath that skirt. Especially in those little black heels!
Viktor released a shaky breath. “Goddamn it, Kamilla.”
He found himself walking slowly back up the path and around the building just to keep her in his view, coming to a stop when she stopped and began to speak to the woman who’d seen him off.
Viktor frowned. Oh, wait. The woman who’d seen him off. Realizing just what the hell was happening, Viktor purged his lips.
Shit. Kamilla was going to find out what he’d done. Why on earth had she come to school so early, he’d planned to be gone by the time she arrived!
He bit his top lip and nodded in acceptance. Yeah, she would find out and she’d probably try to kill him. But he’d told her. Staying away from him was no longer an option, so if she thought she was going to be coming to a college thousands of miles away from him, she had to think again.
Clearing his throat, Viktor was about to turn and leave when Kamilla suddenly turned her head in his direction and her eyes focused right on his face.
And she didn’t look happy.
Gulping, he glanced at the administration lady and scowled at her arm pointing at him. Damn tattling lady! Humans were so unreliable.
Murmuring something to the woman, Kamilla turned and went down the stairs until she was stomping on the path towards him, weaving through students as she did, but her gaze never leaving his face.
Viktor found himself taking a step back, suddenly wanting to disappear. God, why was she so short–tempered?

Chapter 160
He looked around at the mass of students that were arriving for class. No, she wouldn’t possibly attempt murder before so many witnessed world in
He didn’t want to find out.
Turning around, Viktor quickly walked around the building to the parking lot and unable to teleport with so many witnesses, ducked under a dick stairense and pressed himself against the wall.
He was insane for actually feeling excited. This wasn’t a friendly hide ‘n‘ seek. If she found him, he was likely dead!
Pecring through an opening, he saw Kamilla come to a halt at the end of the path, her desperate gaze searching all over for him. She was furious! Viktor had to stifle his grin. She stomped all over, looking like a furious little smurf, despite her red hair.
