Kamilla turned her gaze from Seth to look up at Viktor, her eyes filled with worry.
She saw his jaw clench as he focused on Seth.
“Is that what he said?” Viktor asked, his voice low and

Seth lowered his head. “Give the order, King,” he said. “Rogan is an Elder, but you are King. If you order me to. I will risk my life and bring you his head.”

Kamilla lowered her gaze to her hand which lay on Viktor’s chest and felt how tense his body grew beneath her fingers.
“What do I do, King?” asked Seth.
Viktor’s eyes fell closed. “Watch him. Just watch Rogan for now. Don’t allow any of your brothers to confront him or challenge him.” He looked at Seth “Especially Vlad. If Rogan attempts to leave Onyx, let me know. If he heads for Cassius, follow him. If he calls any meetings with the elders, let me kre #f he attempts to harm any more humans or threaten any more Onyx Vamps for his own benefit, I expect you to know and to let me know. Understand?”
Seth bowed. “Yes, my King.” He raised his head and gave a fierce nod. “We will follow your orders.”
Turning on his heel, Seth marched out of the hall, his black coat billowing behind him and his blonde hair bouncing over his forehead.
Kamilla bit her lip and peaked up at Viktor. She tried to slowly remove her hand from his body but Viktor tightly caught it against his chest and looked down at her.

Kamilla pulled her hands away and held them behind her back as Viktor’s dark glare roamed the room.
“How did he find out?” he muttered darkly to himself. “How the fuck did Rogan find out?!”
Damon came down the stairs, his clothes freshly changed.
He paused, his hand frozen mid–pat over his hair. “What’s going on?”
Kamilla pursed her lips. “Rogan’s started something. He’s telling the Elders that I’m in cahoots with Cassius Vamps. And also… he’s started saying Viktor has multiple personalities.”
“What?!” Damon nearly jumped over the remaining stairs as he rushed over. “What? How did Rogan find out? How the hell did he find out?”
Viktor released a rumble of a growl as he fisted his hands and pressed them against his shut eyes.
Kamilla flinched at the scary sound and inched towards Damon as she felt Viktor’s dangerous energy.
She wrapped a hand around Damon’s arm and he held onto hers as they watched Viktor with wide eyes.
“Uh… Viktor,” Damon said carefully. “It’s not that bad. We can fix this. Just calm d-‘
“That witch!” Viktor exploded making them both jump. He turned on them, eyes dark from fury. “You were asking me to trust her. our side, I can’t believe you two fell for her bullshit!”

Damon and Kamilla shared a clueless look before looking back at Viktor.
Damon stepped forward with a frown. “Wait..” He put a hand to his chin. “Oh, shit. Rena’s behind this.” His eyes fell closed. “Sononfa…”
Viktor smiled in a frightening way and gave them two sharp claps. “Congratulations. You’ve fucked us over!”

Kamilla watched them with a frown and shook her head. “No… no way. I don’t think Rena would do that. She doesn’t want to help Rogan any more, she needs our help to get away from-”
“Bullshit!” said Viktor. “Absolute bollocks! She’s a witch! An enchantress! It’s her specialty to make you believe her, make you want to help her and to love her. Don’t you know this by now, Kamilla?”
Kamilla sighed. “I know, but listen to me! Rena is different! She’s desperate, guys-”
“Kamilla,” said Damon with a shake of his head. “Give it up. We got played.”
Kamilla released a heavy breath and put a hand over her eyes. “I really, really… really don’t think she did it.”
“Who else could have then?” Damon demanded. “Who else could be working for Rogan?”
Kamilla shrugged both shoulders and shook her head. “What if Rogan figured it out on his own? He overheard mine and Charming’s conversation the day before the royal ball! Both of you have seen Charming and you know he’s extremely different from Viktor. Rogan saw that! That’s why he brought Rena to
the ball to look into Viktor!”
