I stared down at her coldly. “W’s over, Andrea, it will never be possible again”
“Do you know when i was cured of my infertility?”
I leaned in slightly, my voice calm but sharp as I continued, “The day I saw you and Harvey together at the hospital”

“You… You mean you’re healed? Peter, you’re better now? That means we can finally have ou own child, right?”
But her hope only made me laugh–so hard my whole body shook
“Too bad, I don’t want you anymore”
Andrea’s face crumbled. She shook her head in disbelief,
“No… that’s not true. You’re just saying that to hurt me, right? You don’t mean it

It was like lightning had struck her. She collapsed to the floor, covering her face with trembling hands as sobs wrecked her body,
Helens immediately called for security, but Andrea clung to my leg, refusing to let go,

“Didn’t you once say that I was already thirty, and no one else would ever want me except you?” “But look at me now, Andrea- your love withered over time. Why would I ever repeat the same mistaker
“Besides, Helena loved me faithfully for years. And you think I deserve better? No–you’re the one who never deserved”
With that, I nodded to the guards. They stepped forward and dragged her out.
And just like that, our wedding began with joy, laughter, and celebration.

1 stood at one end of the aisle, staring at the woman whose eyes held no one but me.
I thought I’d walk that aisle alone, having lost both my parents.

Tears welled up in my eyes. That moment hit me hard.

As the music swelled, I stepped forward in my suit, each step was steady under the weight of blessings and love.
From the corner of the venue, Andrea–now blocked by security–watched helplessly as I walke toward another woman.

We toured some of the most beautiful countries in the world for our honeymoon. Afterward, I started my own creative studio, and slowly, life settled into peace.
The past, and everything in New Jersey, faded behind me.
But for Andrea, it was the opposite.
At a college reunion, she almost didn’t go. But on the slim chance I might appear, she convincec herself to try.
Of course, I wasn’t there.
One former classmate, who had moved overseas right after graduation and didn’t know we had divorced, raised a glass and laughed.
“So, how are you and Peter doing? Must have a few kids by now, huh?”

Andrea stayed silent. She downed her drink quietly, eyes unfocused.
