Seeing this, Nancy bit down hard on the inside of her cheek and suddenly coughed up a mountful of blood.
“Aaron, I just wanted to be with you. I know you think I’m beneath you because I used to be a cancer. But even if I was, my body has always been clean. You promised you’d marry me. If you can’t keep your promise, then I won’t keep the baby either. I don’t want your ten million–l take the child and leave. A child needs their biological mother. And if you send it to live with Cassidy who knows what she might co?”

Still, Aaron’s face remained blank and indifferent
Left with no choice, Nancy played her last card–the one that had worked before. She straightened her back, raised her chin and declared with price and resolve.
“Even if I have to survive on scraps, I will never let my child be raised by some cruel woman She fully expected her words to finally stir something in Aaron, to make him soften or at least look conflicted
But Aaron just stared at her coldy.
Maybe it was because the illusion had finally shattered–but this time, Aaron could see right through her act. He saw the calculated glint in her eyes, the false strength she projected. She wasn’t the selfless, loyal woman she pretended to be.
And now he wondered–how many of the things that had happened lately were she actually
prchestrated?
Still, one thing Nancy said did hit home. I might not accept the child. That thought lingered in Aaron’s mind. He looked at Nancy, with tone colder than ever, “If you won’t let Cassidy raise the child, then get rid of it.”
Just a few words–yet they landed like a slap across Nancy’s face. She turned ghostly pale, staring at Aaron in shock.
This is your child, Aaron! You said you’d loved this baby. And now you want me to get rid of it?! she screamed.
No matter how hard she tried, Nancy couldn’t figure out how things had spiraled so out of control. There was no way she would willingly give up the baby. This child was her one shot–her golden ticket to becoming Mrs. Mackey. Without the baby, she was just a pretty face–one Aaror wouldn’t even glance at again.
Aaron, however, remained unmoved by her hysteria.
“My child would also be Cassidy’s child.
She’s the only woman I’ve ever married. If you won’t give her the child, then it’s not mine.”
His voice turned icy. “Have the abortion and then get out. You don’t want the money? Fine. I’m not giving it to you. But if you change your mind, speak to my assistant.”
With that, he turned and walked away without looking back.
He had wasted far too much time on Nancy–and the urge to see me was becoming unbearable.

Nancy collapsed on the bed, tears streaming down her face as she shouted hysterically.
Watching Aaron walk away without hesitation, she whispered darkly, “You left me no choice Aaron! You make me do this!”
Her eyes gleamed with murderous intent.
