I didn’t care that much about trene before today. I am certainly no keener on her now, ruining what was looking to be a fucking spectacular moment with
Tessa.
Of course I heard Irene’s name from out in the corridor. My wolf is already on high alert for the giddy idea to drag her in this room.

Tessa stays facing the door, her hand clearly itching to open it again. “I need to see her! We still haven’t cleared the air from yesterday.”
“You can find her after. We have leave here soon, don’t want trouble,” planting a kiss along her neck. My arm comes around her stomach, holding her

I take her other hand and silently press it flat against the door. My hand rests on top of it and for a second the memory of her and Briggs‘ little confessional springs back.

“Maxim…they’ll be out in a few minutes.”

I mean, Irene keeps her eyes to the floor more than Tessa. She does metal working and scent tracing. Isaac is an Infantry chump. I guess he does suck is the Beta end of the hall.
