“No way!” Priscilia blurted out instinctively, scrambling backward for cover.
Not far behind her, Waldo lay on a stretcher. Priscilla hurried to his side and lightly grasped his hand.
Priscilla turned to Waldo and said, “See, Waldo? I told you Jessica was out to get me, but you wouldn’t believe mel Do you believe me now?”

“if I’m truly willing to go out, will you promise that once we’re back in the capital, you’ll come to my estate and publicly apologize?”
