The fight between Billy and Alonso erupted fast and vicious–fists flew, blood splattered, and the chaos was raw and violent, filled with snarls, cries, and choked groans.
It was a brutal spectacle, the kind that made even seasoned onlookers flinch.
Aiden hadn’t laid a single finger on them–he didn’t need to. He let them destroy each other instead.
And everyone watching knew: after tonight, those two so–called brothers, once inseparable, would never see eye to eye again. They’d rip each other apart over blame and betrayal. Meanwhile, Aiden would walk away untouched, stainless, above it all.

When the show was finally over and she turned to leave, she realized Aiden had vanished long ago.
She stomped her foot and shouted, “Seriously? He just left me here? So much for loyalty!”
Javon and Robert stepped forward in unison. “Mr. Aiden instructed us to escort you home.”
Kelly huffed and turned, storming off.

Aiden never even mentioned Brody’s name, but everyone knew whose people Billy and Alonso were.
Cutting ties with the Gregory and Jenkins families? That wasn’t just business. It was a slap across Brody’s face, loud and clear.
No one believed he was innocent–not really. But because he bore the Walker name, no one dared say it aloud.
Still, in whispers and shadows, rumors flourished. Some said Brody would have to lie low for a while, or risk being humiliated even more publicly.
Valerie, meanwhile, was completely out of it. Floating in a drunken haze, she felt like a feather drifting toward the clouds–disconnected, weightless,
absurd.
In her blurry mind, she had somehow turned into a mushroom. And now, the demon king was going to eat her.
Terrified, she forced her eyes open and blinked at the darkness.
A magnetic voice, low and smooth, cut through the silence. “Awake?”
She turned toward the sound, dazed.
Aiden leaned casually against the window, gaze sweeping lazily toward her–only to land on her flushed, confused little face.
Outside, lights flickered past the car window, casting shadows and brightness across her cheeks. Her eyes, wide and unfocused, sparkled like a pair of stars lost in space.

Valerie stared at him, eyes blank, then blinked slowly. After a moment of silence, she gasped in horror and croaked out, “Demon king…”
Aiden raised a brow. “Demon king?”
She looked like she wanted to say more–then suddenly her expression twisted, and she looked like she might explode from discomfort.
Aiden’s instincts kicked in. He straightened. “Wait-“.
Lennox, driving up front, twitched at the sound of his boss’s voice cracking. Through the rearview mirror, he caught a rare sight: Aiden Walker, face on the verge of collapse,
Sure enough, moments later, Aiden was covered in vomit.
He stood frozen, veins throbbing on his temple, every inch of him radiating suppressed rage. Through gritted teeth, he ground out, “Valerie.”
Lennox knew his boss had mild OCD. And yet… shockingly, Aiden didn’t throw Valerie out of the car.
Valerie, still drunk and miserable, lay curled against him, teary–eyed and sniffling as if she had no idea what she’d done. ‘Being a mushroom is terrible she thought groggily. ‘I just want to go home…‘
Back at the Walker estate, Aiden–face dark as thunder–lifted the mess of a woman into his arms and carried her out of the car.
Camille, the housekeeper, happened to be waiting and nearly dropped her jaw.
Aiden and Valerie? In public, they barely even sat at the same table, let alone touched. But now he was carrying her?
And then she saw it. The stains. Aiden Walker, with vomit on his suit. Her breath caught in her throat.
Valerie, meanwhile, was completely passed out.
Camille rushed forward, flustered. “Mr. Aiden, let me take her!”
Aiden didn’t even try to hide his disgust. He handed Valerie over stiffly, jaw clenched. “Clean her up.”
Camille’s heart dropped. “Yes, sir.”
She watched Aiden storm toward his private bathroom and sighed, dragging Valerie to hers. “Mrs. Walker, you really chose violence tonight… vomiting on Aiden? Do you have a death wish?”
With a heavy heart, she started cleaning up the girl who’d somehow survived the impossible.
Aiden peeled off his soiled clothes the moment he entered his bathroom, stepping into the shower like he was scrubbing off sin itself.
After a long rinse, he walked out, towel around his shoulders, only to be met by a flustered maid. “Mr. Walker,” she said, voice trembling. “It’s… about Mrs.
Walker.”
Aiden froze. “What about her?”
“She’s too drunk. We… we couldn’t manage her.”
His gaze turned glacial. “Useless.”
The maid flushed scarlet and bowed deeply. “We thought… maybe you should check.”
Aiden’s jaw tightened as he strode off.
