Javon and Robert moved swiftly, rushing forward to seize them.
Alonso screamed, “It’s a misunderstanding, it’s all a misunderstanding!”
Billy, equally terrified, shouted, “Let go of us! Do you even know who we are?”
Kelly, of course, knew exactly who they were. These were just Brody’s two unruly friends.
But Valerie, standing firm, retorted loudly, “I don’t care
who you
are.
It’s dark, you’re sneaky, and you’re either a pervert or a thief. Beat them to a pulp!”
Billy panicked, his voice rising in fear. “Wait!”
The screams echoed through the parking garage, louder and more desperate with each passing second.
Alonso’s cries were even more pitiful, his screams growing higher
more frantic.
From the sound of it, the blows were hard, and in the darkness, the sickening sound of fists connecting with flesh made Kelly’s heart race.
Valerie, already feeling the effects of the alcohol, swayed slightly, but she still managed to pull Kelly aside, her words slurred but urgent. “Call for help. Let everyone know that we’ve been ambushed by perverts in the parking lot.”
Kelly instantly understood. Valerie was playing it smart–she was cutting off any escape for them.
“I’m calling now.” Kelly quickly pulled out her phone.
Valerie’s tense shoulders relaxed a bit as she heard Kelly’s voice on the line.
In her past life, Valerie had never spent time with Kelly like this. Every time she returned to the Walker family, Kelly had made her life difficult, and Valerie had grown to detest her.
But now, after spending time together, Valerie realized Kelly was just a spoiled rich girl with a strong will, not a bad person.
Yet, in her previous life, this same innocent girl had been pushed to suicide by those two animals, and the pain Kelly had endured before her death was
horrendous.
Now, watching these two men who dared harm Kelly, Valerie realized how many others they had hurt in the past. People like that didn’t deserve to live-
not even once.
Soon, the commotion drew attention. The guards quickly rushed over, shouting, “What’s going on?”
Valerie raised her voice, tinged with feigned panic, “Help! These two perverts ambushed us in the dark! We got lucky and caught them. Someone call the police!”
Thanks to Kelly’s quick message, word spread fast among the guests at the event, and soon, several people had gathered to see what was happening.
This was no ordinary gathering–only the elite could get in.
But now, there were reports of perverts lurking in such an exclusive place?
It was a huge scandal.
As Brody and the others heard about it from upstairs, a deep sense of unease settled in their hearts.
Renata’s face shifted immediately, and she exchanged a nervous glance with her best friend, Kassidy.
Kassidy gave a forced smile, trying to remain calm. “It’s probably nothing, right?”

But Renata’s expression was grim as she muttered, “This isn’t their first time doing something like this. Honestly, they should’ve known better than to make such a rookie mistake…”
As the words left her mouth, Renata couldn’t help but think of Valerie’s calm, collected smile,
That woman… She didn’t give off a good vibe.
Her poise, her composed demeanor–it reminded Renata of Brody. No wonder they were married.
“Ugh, what a pair,” Renata muttered, teeth clenched in irritation. “Everything was going perfectly until now. Let’s go check it out.”

Billy and Alonso, barely able to speak, immediately broke down, crying and crawling toward him for help.
But what they didn’t expect was that Valerie cried louder than they did.
Her tears made all eyes turn to her.
Valerie wiped her tears and walked toward Brody, as if she had just found her savior. “Brody, thank god you’re here. Kelly and I were attacked by perverts. These two freaks were lurking by our car, watching us, holding…”
She trailed off, and Alonso’s spray bottle–meant for Valerie–now lay quietly on the ground.
The crowd erupted.
“What’s that thing?”
“I bet it’s not something good.”
“Shouldn’t someone get it tested?”
Brody’s face twisted for a moment, a flicker of discomfort crossing his features.
Valerie, still acting the victim, sobbed, “If it weren’t for my bodyguards spotting them in time, Kelly and I, two women, would never have been able to fight them off. Brody, you have to do something about this!”
Her bodyguards exchanged looks but remained silent, watching everything unfold.
Billy and Alonso were stunned.
They never expected Valerie to turn things around like this.
Those bodyguards hadn’t even seen them–it was Valerie who’d noticed them first. And yet, before they could even react, she had the bodyguards pin them to the ground and beat them.
Now, she had the audacity to play the victim?

Billy and Alonso cried, desperate to clear their names. “No, don’t listen to her, she’s lying!”
Alonso, weakly, begged, “Brody…”
Valerie suddenly snapped, “What did you just say, Brody? These two perverts, you know them? Is that your idea of a friend?”
Her voice rang out, clear and unforgiving. Brody’s face twisted with fury as he barked, “Shut up!”
Valerie, with her usual composure, feigned surprise. “Brody, do you actually know these creeps?”
Billy whimpered, “Of course, we do.”
Alonso, crying in fear, added, “Brody, please save us, they’re going to kill us!”
Brody clenched his teeth, his fury rising. “Shut. Up.”
His glare at Valerie was cold and filled with hatred, as if he wanted to strangle her on the spot.
But Valerie, oblivious to the threat, only smiled sweetly. “Brody, so these are the kinds of people you associate with? You seriously call them your friends? I don’t believe it.”
Kelly nearly burst out laughing.
Billy and Alonso had been Brody’s lackeys for years, always calling his name. Now, seeing Brody’s expression, Kelly felt nothing but pure satisfaction.
Brody, gritting his teeth, forced a smile and said, “There must be some misunderstanding. They’re my friends, and they’re good people. They would never do something like this.”
