Anastasia nodded firmly. “Yes, Miss Vinci. If you need confirmation, I can contact my mentor right now. She’s currently traveling in Switzerland and would be happy to verify our relationship.“
Sonia was speechless, her emotions churning. She’d expected to easily find flaws in Anastasia’s work, to tear down her confidence. Instead, she’d been completely outmaneuvered.
Sylvie Corvalle’s name carried enormous weight in jewelry design–her student would naturally be exceptional too. Anastasia was more than qualified for this commission.
Sonia felt frustration building with no outlet.
