Or are you deliberately being difficult?” Aurora said sharply. “You know exactly what we’re shooting today, yet you chose such heavy makeup. Who are you trying to impress? Aurora’s criticism was scathing. Sonia bit her lip, her eyes reddening with unshed tears that she didn’t dare let fall.

Sonia wanted to lash out but didn’t dare cross Aurora. She could only grit her teeth and comply.
