Time for the class reunion.
Martin Bills, their college class president, had organized dinner at this fancy five star hotel,
Their classmates had been pretty successful back in the day–most were doing well now–so this reunion was definitely upscale.
When Anastasia and Tamia got there, Anastasia realized they were eating at a Rhodes Global property.
She’d been to this hotel before. Cassian had mentioned over breakfast that he had a business dinner here tonight too.
He’d brought it up that morning, but she hadn’t really been paying attention.
After checking out Anastasia’s look, Tamia practically whistled in approval.
Perfect–she was gonna be the hottest woman there.
Anastasia was rocking that elegant cream dress they’d bought, paired with this delicate silver necklace that made her skin look absolutely flawless and showed off her natural sophistication.
Her hair was in these soft waves that fell over her shoulders, giving her this effortlessly chic vibe.
Tamia grabbed her arm, beaming. “Ana, you look fucking incredible tonight! You’re gonna make everyone’s jaw drop.”
Anastasia’s whole energy was just magnetic, and marriage had made her even more stunning–being loved really suited her.
Anastasia laughed. “You’re so extra.”
They walked into the hotel lobby cracking up, and this server immediately came over with a professional smile. “Which private dining room can I help you find?”
Anastasia nodded. “V6, please.”
The server brightened. “Perfect, follow me.”
She led them through this gorgeous lobby toward the back where the private rooms were.
Right then, a group of guys in expensive suits walked through the main entrance, with Cassian at the front.
Cassian looked absolutely killer in his perfectly fitted black suit. His usual serious expression totally softened when he caught sight of Anastasia.
He raised an eyebrow, watching her walk away for a few seconds, this little smile creeping across his face.
What were the odds–so this was where Anastasia’s reunion was happening.
Even better. His turf meant he could make sure everything went smoothly.
Cassian stopped and turned to Philips. “Find out which room my wife’s reunion is in. Have the kitchen send over some of our best dishes, plus all that fresh seafood that came in today. And take care of their tab.”
Philips was totally used to this routine by now and didn’t even blink. “Got it, boss.”
Philips mentally reminded himself again to stay on Mrs. Rhodes‘ good side.
His boss was completely gone for this woman.
Cassian took one more long look in her direction before heading off with his team.
