Chapter 10
On the massive screen above the altar, a video began to play–intimate, explicit footage of a man and a woman tangled together. But it wasn’t just anyone. The woman in the video was the bride herself–Faye.
In the video, she looked nothing like the demure, obedient woman she always was before
Seth. She was bold, wild and unrestrained. And as the footage kept rolling, it became increasingly clear: the male partner was different in every clip, but the woman never
changed.
Seth stared, stunned. He couldn’t reconcile what he was seeing with the woman he thought he knew. Faye had always claimed she was saving herself for their wedding night. Now, all he could do was question everything–was this truly Faye?
Gasps rippled through the wedding guests. Some began filming the scene with their phones. Faye, realizing what was happening, grabbed Seth’s hand in panic.
“Seth, those videos were doctored, I swear! You have to believe me–I would never do
something so filthy.”
Before he could respond, his parents approached him, their expressions tight with fury.
“Seth, a woman like that cannot be allowed into our family. You still have time–call it off
while you can.
A friend of his chimed in, trying to reason with him. “She’s lying, man. That footage
doesn’t look fake at all.”
But Seth looked into Faye’s tear–filled eyes, then turned sharply toward his friend, his
voice thunderous. “Enough! I believe her.”
He raised his voice for all to hear. “The wedding continues. And if anyone here so much as thinks about sharing that video, I promise–they’ll vanish from the city by morning.”
The crowd fell silent. They knew he wasn’t bluffing.

Just as things seemed to settle, his assistant stepped forward, handing him a file folder. Faye’s eyes flicked to it, and she immediately tried to steer him away.
“Seth, let’s just finish the ceremony. Everyone’s waiting.”
But it was too late. He had already opened the folder and was reading.
Word by word, he absorbed everything. It was a detailed account of Faye’s deceptions- page after page of documented lies and evidence.
It wasn’t Bella who had released the scandalous video with him; Faye had fabricated the entire thing.
She had approached him not out of love, but because of a gambling debt. She had used him to pay it off.
As he reached the final page, Seth staggered back a step. His face drained of color, his eyes
wide with disbelief.
He had thought Faye was just blinded by greed, but now he knew–her supposed congenital
kidney condition had been fake too. She had deliberately injured herself to manipulate him
into staying, to bind him with guilt.
And in return, he had forced Bella to donate her kidney. He had let Faye’s body be bruised
and torn apart for this woman.
What had he done?
The wedding collapsed into chaos. The Rogen family cleared out the guests, sending them away in silence.
Once the last person had gone, Seth tore apart the venue in a fury. The custom diamond
ring he’d had made for Faye was hurled into the sea.
Faye, her face ashen, tried to plead for a chance to explain. But he never looked at her again.

When he finished destroying the space, Seth didn’t stop. He picked up his phone and called
the private hospital.
“I want to schedule a surgery,” he said. “Kidney removal. Immediately.”
Thirty minutes later, Faye was strapped down on an operating table. No anesthesia. No
consent.
Her screams echoed through the room as the scalpel cut deep. Seth stood by, voice cold and
detached.
“Proceed.”
Blood spilled across her gown–bright, heavy, and merciless. The scene was nothing short
of brutal.
