Drielle’s P.O.V.
My high–pitched accusatory tone cut through the silence of the hall, receiving a great reaction. The shock of my revelation spilled from the lips of the audience in uncontrollable gasps. Melody fell back, her body rocked by the sheer force of surprise, but I smirked at her condition. This was just the beginning of the evening, and she was acting like this was the end of the world.
Glancing at Felix’s color changing face, I ordered Brandon to play the next video.

The details of my internal bleeding and injuries successfully garnered the sympathy of the audience, I could feel the tension rising with every passing second. They were murmuring about my anguish.
Satisfied by this outcome, I was about to move on to the next step when Felix spoke up in defense.
“I didn’t ask anyone to hurt you physically. This doesn’t seem right…”
His audacity to deny this strong evidence was commendable, he was unfazed by my painful past. Just like him, Melody mustered up some courage to clear her name.
“Felix is right. We didn’t harm you, Drielle.”
Putting a brave façade, Melody countered my proof with hollow words.
“When you got pregnant, Felix wasn’t ready for the baby. You left him due to this minor disagreement.
And then you never returned!
The police thoroughly checked all the hospitals and clinics in the city before closing your case. How can you blame us wrongly when you faked your own death, Drielle?
Are you trying to tarnish Felix’s name, distracting the media’s attention from your wrongdoings?”
Her slanderous query boiled the blood coursing through my veins, I felt rising in my chest to see her shamelessness. Indeed, she was one step ahead of Felix in slyness, taking charge of this situation like a true villain. Her Oscar–winning acting was truly incredible.
The anger of Melody’s interruption aside, I focused on my case, Henry’s support fueled my resolve. He whispered in my ear.
“Be strong, Drielle. I am with you!”
Balling my fists, I decided to burst the bubble of Felix and Melody’s immaculateness, they needed more than a video of reports.
“I sincerely admire your ability to corrupt others‘ minds with your sweet words, Melody.

My security staff brought Mr. Max sitting in a wheelchair; he was smoothly recovering from cancer due to effective treatments. I kept my end of the bargain and gave him money along with the best medical facilities.
Doctor Max’s meek figure was like a nuclear attack for Melody and Felix, their fucked up faces said more than words. They must have never imagined that he would come back from abroad.
Henry stood beside Doctor Max and asked him to enlighten the guests.

All eyes gawked at Doctor Max as he took out his cell phone and showed them a picture of Henry in the infirmary.
“Five years ago, Mr. Green. I contacted you on your dying sister. She was on the brink of death in the forest
Doctor Max’s confession moistened my eyes, forcing me to relive my trauma. It wasn’t easy for me to repeat my sob story over and over again.
Withholding the pain in my heart, I continued after Doctor Max.
“As the doctor has disclosed the blackmailing of a mysterious man, it became clear that this was a preplanned attack, pointing towards a vile schemer.

Smiling victoriously, I raised my brow.
“Please look carefully at the screen!
There are the call records of Doctor Max’s infirmary, and the highlighted number belongs to the culprit.”
After a momentary pause, the next slide of the pictures appeared on it, resonating with a terrifying screech in the surroundings.
“No!!!”
Melody’s hand flew to her mouth, halting the series of screams, she couldn’t utter a single word in protest. Her ID and the passport information
on a delicious note, the taste of vengeance finally refreshed my soul. submitted as the owner of that blackmailer’s number ended my revenge plan
“No, this is fake. I didn’t do anything!”
Melody’s denial was soon overpowered by the outburst of media, they bombarded her with queries.

Stuck in the sea of journalists, Melody’s teary gaze fell on her partner in crime, she begged perilously.
