Chapter 80
Under the night sky, the green Jeep drove away slowly, and Lizzie also returned to the Trevino’s house.
“Did you see that? That kid is so clingy to Lizzic.”
“Yeah, I think this is pretty much a done deal.”
“Tsk tsk, Lizzie is really something. She just broke up with Mr. Howland and already found a guy who drives a car, and he seems pretty good.”
Meanwhile, at the Equinox Research Institute dormitory.
Leandro stood at Theron’s dormitory door, hesitated for a moment, then knocked on the door.
“Come in.”
Theron’s deep voice came from inside.
Leandro pushed the door open and Theron was sitting at the desk, holding a document without looking up.
There was only one desk lamp on in the dorm room, casting a dim light that shrouded Theron’s figure in shadows.
Leandro walked up to the table and stood at attention.
“Theron.”
Theron nodded and kept his eyes on the documents, “Did Lizzie take everything? You didn’t let her know that the stuff was from me, right?”

Leandro didn’t say anything, he felt really thirsty, the words were on the tip of his tongue, but he couldn’t get them out.
After hesitating for a while, I finally said, “When I arrived, I saw Ms. Trevino… being helped into a car by a man.”
Theron’s fingers paused for a moment as he flipped through the documents, but he didn’t look up.
Leandro continued to report.
He described the scene he saw, including that green Jeep.
“The neighbors in the courtyard said… said that was a blind date with Ms. Trevino.”
Theron held the file in his hand, his knuckles slightly turning white.
He finally looked up at Leandro, his eyes calm but with an invisible pressure.
“Blind date? So soon?”
Theron muttered, “How is that person?”
Leandro shook his head quickly, “I didn’t get a good look at his face, it was a bit far away. But… Glenna seemed really pleased with him.”
The dorm was quiet, with only the desk lamp making a faint buzzing sound.
Theron’s gaze fell back on the documents, “Got it, you can go now.
“Yes!”
”
Leandro, like being granted amnesty, nodded, turned around, quickly left the dormitory, and gently closed the door.

The moment the door closed, Theron’s documents were crumpled in his hand.
He leaned back in the chair, closed his eyes, and furrowed his brow tightly.
Johanna walked into the bookstore with the translated manuscript in
hand.
Fredrick had some impression on Johanna, the researcher’s fiancee. He pushed his glasses up and asked kindly, “Is the paper translated?”
Johanna gave a modest nod, looking humble and polite, making a great first impression.
“I’ll take a look.”
“Okay, if there’s anything I didn’t translate well, please let me know.”
Fredrick waved his hand, “Can’t really say I’m good at it, I learned French. Now the country needs people who know Latin, so I’m just trying to catch up and learn slowly.”
He said, adjusted his glasses, picked up the paper, and looked at the sunlight coming in through the window.
Just then, the door was pushed open from the outside with some effort.
Fredrick looked up and saw a person sitting in a wheelchair, pushing the door open.
The sunlight shone through the door frame, outlining her slender yet straight figure.
Johanna also instinctively turned her head and looked over. Suddenly, her eyes “accidentally” collided with Lizzie in mid–air, causing her body to stiffen and her face to slightly change, looking a bit ugly.

Lizzie also looked up and saw Johanna.
But she looked calm, just glanced at Johanna, and then focused on Fredrick.
“Fredrick.”
Fredrick almost immediately put down the manuscript he had just received from Johanna, walked over quickly, with a familiar and concerned look on his face.
“Lizzie, how did you come over by yourself?”
He casually pushed open the door, letting Lizzie in easily, then naturally walked to the back of the wheelchair, took the handle, and. pushed her into the bookstore.
Lizzie looked up at him and smiled, explaining, “I went to the hospital for a check–up today and thought I’d drop by to return the manuscript from last time.”
Fredrick pushed the wheelchair inside, muttering to himself, “How’s the leg recovery going?”
“The doctor said the recovery was good.” Lizzie just had a fracture, which takes less time to recover from than a break, she should be able to walk freely in about a month.
“Alright, but take good care of your recovery. You have to be careful with that leg. It’s not convenient to come over from home alone.”
“I can take my time, it’s okay. How can I let the whole family revolve around me?”
The two of them were chatting and then walked in, naturally close. Johanna stood there like a ghost.
