After Amy saw those photos, her face turned pale. For a moment, her mind went completely blank, she stared in stunned disbelief at Phillips No matter how beautiful she once was, she was just an old woman now. Her face was etched with wrinkles, and her hair turned silver with time. Dorian carefreely picked up the photos and examined them closely. He said, “Sophia, I’ve seen someone sponge off others, but never one so shameless.
“Look at all these women. They are all young, gorgeous, and full of life.”
Sophia said casually, “Men are always so loyal, aren’t they?”
“What?” Dorian looked puzzled.
Sophia said, “No matter how old they get, men
i always go for young and pretty women.”
‘Oh, so that’s what she calls loyalty, Dorian though
sarcastically.
Amy couldn’t bear it any longer. With tears streaming down her face, she turned to Phillip and said, “You betrayed me and our love. How could you?”
Hearing that, Dorian almost threw up. He thought,
disgusting love. There’s nothing beautiful about it!’
Phillip saw his affairs exposed and said with shameless composure, “You betrayed me first. You left me to marry Richard and even had a son with him.
“Was I supposed to remain single for you? Was I not allowed to see other women?
“I’m a man, you know. Being made a fool of like that, I could never get over it. Every time I saw Bryan, I was reminded of your betrayal. Just thinking about it made my heart bleed. The pain was unbearable.
“What was I supposed to do? Isn’t all of this your fault in the first
place?”
He looked so righteous and full of himself that Sophia clicked her tongue in disdain. She wanted to hit him.
Sophia scoffed, “Oh, please. Your heart may bleed, and the pain may be unbearable, but that didn’t stop other parts of you from working just fine, sleeping around, and fathering children with other women. How horrible this is!”
Dorian nodded in agreement. “Funny how you never seemed heartbroken when you were splurging with the Turner family’s money and playing the big
shot.
“Or maybe you were just too good at hiding it. You were so heartbroken that the only way to vent was by sleeping around and fathering kids with other
women?
“In all my years, I’ve never met someone so utterly shameless.”
Seeing the two of them teaming up against him, Phillip was so furious. He nearly exploded on the spot. “How dare-”
With a sharp crack, Amy slapped Phillip hard across the face.
Phillip’s eyes widened in disbelief. He shouted, “How dare you hit me?”
Without hesitation, he struck back. Soon, the two sixty–year–olds were locked in a wild brawl.
Sophia and Dorian quickly stood up to clear the battlefield for them.
As they fought, Amy screamed, “You heartless scumbag. I gave up my son for you and gave you so much money. How dare you betray me? Ah!”
Phillip lashed out viciously. He grabbed Amy by the hair and slammed her onto the sofa.

The physical disparity between men and women was already significant, and Phillip’s physique was kept in top shape by constant pamperini workouts. As a result, Amy stood no chance against him.
Bryan just stood there watching. He made no move to break up the fight, but instead, he felt a thrill of revenge.
Meanwhile, his half–brother, wife, and son had long since kept well away from the chaos.
Dorian stood on the sidelines and pumped his fist and egged Amy on. “Hit him. Beat that ungrateful bastard to death, Mrs. Turner. After all he has done to you, how can you still hold back?”
Dorian shouted, “Mrs. Turner, he just yanked out a chunk of your hair. You must be in great pain. Fight back and hit him as hard as you can.
“If you don’t beat him bloody today and make sure he leaves on a stretcher, everything you’ve put up with all these years will have been for nothing
“He betrayed your love and trampled on all your devotion. A traitor to love deserves

Sophia shot Dorian a glance and thought, ‘He is savage. Could he have learned this from me?‘
But Amy was no match for Phillip. In the end, she curled up into a ball on the floor, completely defenseless as the punches rained down on her.
Phillip unleashed years of pent–up resentment at her, and his words dripped with venom.
He complained, “Let me be honest. The moment you left me years ago, my love for you died. I swo
I’d make you pay for it someday.
“You know what? Every time I was with you after that, it turned my stomach. After sleeping with you, I’d go find other women. At least they were cleaner than you’ll ever be.”
It was soul–crushing. For love, Amy betrayed her husband and schemed against her son. She had thought she could finally find the love of her life, but in the end, it was all for nothing.
People who live for love could be truly terrifying once that love was gone, because there was nothing they
wouldn’t do.
Amy was that kind of person. Her entire belief system came crashing down in an instant, and she let out a bloodcurdling scream of utter despair.
When she finally came to her senses, she found herself gripping a fruit knife. The handle was clenched in her fist, and the blade was already buried deep in Phillip’s abdomen.
Blood gushed out like a ruptured pipe, splattering onto the floor in thick, crimson drops. Within moments, a dark red pool rapidly spread across the ground.
“Ah! She killed him,” screamed the family of three from a safe distance.
Phillip remained frozen with his fist raised, and his head slowly drooped. Whether from shock or blood loss, his eyes fluttered shut before he collapsed to
the floor.
Amy stared blankly at the fruit knife in her hand. Instead of feeling fear, she began to laugh.
With the knife in one hand, she slowly crouched down and shook Phillip. “Wake up. Don’t pretend to sleep. Didn’t you promise to take me away from
here?
“You swore you’d love me forever. I’m ready to marry you and have children with you, as long as you won’t betray me or our love.
“Get up and say you love me. Say I’m the only one you love. Say it.”
Amy suffered one devastating blow after another today. She now seemed to have lost her mind.
Sophia merely raised an eyebrow, utterly unfazed.
Dorian was clearly shaken. He said, “Sophia, this—”

Dorian turned to face her of his own accord and said, “I’m fine, Sophia.”
Sophia nodded but still texted Dorian’s bodyguard to call him over.
When the ambulance arrived, Amy was still clutching the knife in a death grip and muttering, “Bullshit love,”
Having a lingering fear, Dorian sighed, “People blinded by love are downright terrifying.”
Sophia took the opportunity to lecture him. “Being blinded by love never ends well. Don’t follow their example.”
Dorian blinked and said, “Hey, Sophia, don’t just lecture me. You’re no exception. After all, you’re already at the perfect age to be dating.”
