Before leaving, he glared at me. “Well played, Harlow!”
I couldn’t help but smile.
In court, Nash was silent about my divorce petition but objected to the property division, accusing me of being the unfaithful one. He even presented photos of Reed and me together.
I hadn’t expected him to move back just to gather evidence. If that was his game, I had no reason to be nice anymore.
I presented security footage proving Reed and I were just friends with no inappropriate behavior, while his affair was undeniable.
To top it off, Kira had been sending me incriminating videos throughout this period. Nash was stunned–he hadn’t realized I’d installed security cameras.
I’d done so after his parents‘ confrontation, just in case. It proved useful today.
Nash admitted defeat. The first hearing didn’t grant the divorce, but I was determined to file again, even if it meant waiting another six months.

I shook my head. “I didn’t force you into anything. On your first day in business, I told you quality comes first. Even if profit margins are lower, never cut corners. You forgot your principles.”
He smiled sadly. “Yes, I did forget–not just in business, but in our relationship too.”
Nash finally bowed his head. Always proud, he’d been unwilling to admit defeat, but now he had no choice.
Mr. Griffin and I divided his market share, and Nash stepped down, finally agreeing to the divorce.

When Zoe learned I’d found another younger guy, she gave me a thumbs up. “That’s my girl!”
‘Smart people don’t fall in love blindly. Marriage isn’t in my plans, but dating to lift my spirits? Why not!”
Hearing that, she nodded vigorously. “That’s the way! But how long do you plan to play with this boy toy?”
‘Until I get bored. It’s mutually beneficial!”
Reed was clever enough–he provided emotional support, and I covered his expenses–gifts, living expenses, tuition… all came from me. Even after graduation, I could offer him valuable connections.
