As he finished speaking, he opened the door.
“Come inside and rest for a bit.”
Everyone was overjoyed and quickly helped Mrs. Pierce inside.
After giving her some sugar water, Mrs. Pierce finally regained consciousness.
She looked around, and the first thing she did was grab Aria’s hand tightly. “Aria, you’ve finally let us in. Does this mean you forgive us?”
Aria yanked her hand away. “No, I don’t forgive you.”
“I let you in only because I didn’t want you dying on my doorstep.”
Mrs. Pierce’s eyes instantly dimmed, and Mr. Pierce and Connor both lowered their heads.
Maxwell, however, looked up, his eyes rimmed with red. “Aria, I know the pain I caused you was toc great. You have every right not to forgive me, but I won’t give up. I’ll stay on this island and wait for
as long as it takes, until the day you forgive me.”
Aria raised her eyes to look at him. “Maxwell, don’t you find what you’re saying ridiculous? You’re the heir to the Thornton fortune. You’d give up everything just to stay on this island with me?”
“Yes!”
She had thought this would make Maxwell back down, but his answer came without a moment’s hesitation.
Immediately after, Mr. Pierce, Mrs. Pierce, and Connor all stood up.
“We feel the same, Aria. We’ll give up everything, We just want you to forgive us and come back to the Pierce family.”
Aria shook her head. “I will never go back with you. Stay here if you want, but I’ve already decided
to leave.”

But now she understood.
She had met her godparents who had saved her, and Lucas.
Yesterday, Lucas had told her that he needed to return home to handle some family matters, and he
wanted to take her with him.
At first, she had hesitated, but then Lucas said that if she didn’t come, they wouldn’t leave either.
Seeing how they were willing to give up everything for her, she smiled.
It didn’t matter where she went. What mattered was being with the people she wanted to be with.
So, she decided to leave the island with the Kingsley family.
Hearing Aria’s decision, Maxwell felt terrible.
He never imagined that with just one word from Lucas, she would be willing to leave.
Yet they had stood outside for three days and three nights without earning even a moment of her
forgiveness.
In that moment, his heart ached terribly.
He vaguely realized that Aria might never belong to him.
But he refused to accept this reality, so he quickly said, “Aria, wherever you go, we’ll follow.”
Three days later, Aria left the island with Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley and Lucas.
Following closely behind were the Pierce family and Maxwell.
As soon as they got off the plane, Aria got into a car heading to the Kingsley residence.
Just as the Pierce family and Maxwell were about to follow, Lucas stopped them.
“Sorry, this is a private residence. You can’t enter.”
They knew it wasn’t appropriate, and after days without proper rest, they barely had the energy to try to win Aria over, let alone argue.

time.
From the way the Kingsley family had spoken these past days, Aria knew they were extremely wealthy.
But when she entered their home, she was still shocked.
She had thought the Pierce and Maxwell families were top–tier wealthy, but she never imagined that the Kingsley residence would be an actual castle!
She couldn’t help but be amazed by the luxury before her eyes. The soaring dome ceiling, the exquisite crystal chandeliers, the beautiful murals, and the priceless antiques–everything showcased the Kingsley family’s immense wealth and noble status.
Mr. Kingsley smiled at Aria and said, “Aria, this is your home now. Don’t feel constrained–treat it like your own.”
Mrs. Kingsley also warmly held her hand, showing her around each room. Lucas quietly followed beside her, his eyes full of tenderness and adoration.
