Chapter 194
“Be a perfect consort?” Waldo’s brows furrowed slightly.
“Waldo, I…” Priscilla’s voice trembled slightly.
“I still have matters to discuss with the prince. Priscilla, go back and rest first.” Yuna’s voice was solemn.
“Why should I be the one to leave?” Priscilla’s expression darkened. After holding back her temper all night, she could no longer suppress it.
She confronted Yuna. “Yuna, who do you think you are…”
Suddenly, Yuna’s hand landed harshly on Priscilla’s face.
Priscilla was stunned, and even Waldo was momentarily too shocked to react.
It was a few sharp words, and violence was not necessary. It was a bit too much.
Sure enough, Priscilla exploded in fury. “You hit me! How dare you! You lowly…”
Yuna struck again with even greater force. It was even louder than the last one.
Priscilla was slapped to the ground, her face burning with pain so intense she couldn’t even speak.
But it wasn’t over. She could feel a powerful force rushing toward her. Before she could react, Yuna had already grabbed her and thrown her out the door.
Priscilla hit the ground hard, her limbs disordered. She glared at Yuna, who was standing in the doorway. She clutched her stinging face and cried out angrily, “You hit me! On what grounds? If father and brother were here, they’d never let you get away with this!”
Yuna retorted, “Is everyone in the Mcbride clan like you, arrogant and oppressive? No wonder your family was nearly wiped out. Priscilla, if you don’t repent, your fate will be the same as your father’s and brother’s!”
Yuna’s eyes blazed with anger. “Guards, take her back to the Drizzle Pavilion. No one can let her out without my order!”
The two guards and Hughie hesitated. Yuna had only been in Waldo House for two days. They weren’t sure if they should obey her.
But Waldo didn’t seem to object.
And truthfully, Priscilla had always been too arrogant. She had never been liked in the Waldo House and had even been locked in the woodshed for days previously.
They thought she had long since fallen out of favor.
In the end, the two guards still picked her up and dragged her away.
Yuna took a moment to compose herself before re–entering the room. She bowed respectfully to Waldo. “My apologies, Your Highness. Though she is indeed willful, her nature isn’t truly evil. She can still be saved.”
She added, “Please, Your Highness, considering her youth and ignorance, give me a bit more time. I will do my best to teach her properly.”
Waldo stared at Yuna.
It was a beautiful face, not as flawless as Jessica’s, but far more attractive than most girls.
Yet, he couldn’t see even the slightest trace of feminine softness in Yuna. It made him feel like he was speaking to a man.
“A perfect consort?” he murmured again, recalling her earlier words.

Yuna said, “No matter whether Your Highness still cares for my sister, you once did. As long as she hasn’t made any grave mistakes, you shouldn’t cast he aside. Otherwise, how would you be any different from a heartless man?”
“I never planned to abandon Priscilla.” He spoke at last. After all, he had truly liked her once. Keeping another woman in the manor meant little to him-
Unless she insisted on leaving. If she did leave, he wouldn’t stop her.
Thinking back to the days he had gone out of his way to please her, he found them utterly dull. But Yuna intrigued him.
“And what about you?” His voice dropped a notch, his gaze sharp. “You’ve been lurking in this manor for so long. Did you think I didn’t know? Is this how you plan to manipulate me too?”
