“Ugh, seriously this place is a mess. Valerie’s junk is everywhere,” one of the girls huffed.
Adrienne was fuming. What a joke. Weren’t you the ones who trashed her stuff in the first place?”
In the beginning. Adrienne had even helped tidy up Valerie’s things out of respect.
But these two had gone from bad to worse, and she’d long since stopped lifting a finger for them. Now they had the nerve to complain?
Before Adrienne could speak, the door swung open with a loud sound as Valerie pushed it hard against the wall.
Both Jasmine and Meredith jumped in surprise, turning toward the door.
Jasmine snapped, “What the hell’s wrong with you? Coming back is one thing–why slam the door like that? You scared the crap out of mere
Meredith Knapp chimed in with a face full of disdain. “Perfect timing, you’re back. Your stuff’s a disaster–clean it up already. Your bed looks like a a chicken coop. Disgusting. How do you even sleep in that thing?”
Adrienne was about to explode. “That mess–you two made it!”
But years of keeping quiet had made her voice shrink. It wavered… and faded away.
Jasmine and Meredith ignored her completely, tossing over their shoulders, “If you’ve got so much to say, why don’t you help clean up instead?”
Another loud thud. Everyone jumped again.
Valerie was throwing things on the floor.
She looked at them coldly. “Let me get this straight… You two made this mess, didn’t you?”
Her voice was low, her presence overwhelming. A dominant, commanding aura seemed to radiate from her, making the room feel smaller. Jasmine and Meredith were caught completely off guard–this was not the timid Valerie they remembered.
Jasmine glared at her. “Are you nuts? What are you even talking about? You’ve been gone forever, this crap is all yours! How is this our fault?”
“Oh, I see,” Valerie murmured. She picked up an empty skincare bottle and threw it at Jasmine. “Then tell me–if this is mine, where’s the rest of my face
cream?”
Meredith faltered. “You were gone so long… that stuff would’ve expired.”
“Oh really?” Valerie grabbed a shirt off the bed. “I left this folded in my locker. How did it end up here?”
-Jasmine barked back, louder now. “Stop acting so high and mighty! So you made some money–who knows how you really got it?”
Valerie had had enough. She picked up a glass jar and hurled it toward Meredith’s feet.
Meredith shrieked, “What the hell are you doing?”
“Throwing stuff,” Valerie said icily. “It’s mine, isn’t it?”
Then she grabbed an empty eye cream jar and raised it–to Meredith’s face.
Meredith screamed and covered her eyes.
Jasmine gasped, “Valerie! You actually hit her?”
Valerie turned to Adrienne. “Did I hit her?”

Adrienne blinked Innocently. “Nope. You just threw something.
Another jar landed right on Meredith’s head.
That was it–Meredith snapped and lunged. “I’ll kill you!”
Valerie had been waiting.
She dodged effortlessly, and Meredith slammed into the cabinet behind her.
Before she could recover, Valerie grabbed a fistful of her hair and yanked.
Meredith screamed, tears spilling from her eyes. “You”
“You’re welcome,” Valerie sneered, lifting her off the ground by her hair.
Jasmine tried to intervene but was shoved down, Valerie’s heel pressing firmly into her back. The pressure dragged at her scalp, and she wailed in pain.
Jasmine never imagined Valerie would actually fight back. Scrambling for her phone, she tried to snap a photo.
But Adrienne was faster. She slapped the phone out of her hand. “What do you think you’re doing?”
Jasmine shoved her aside. “Move!”
Meredith, still sobbing, clutched at her scalp, certain she was
s going bald.
Valerie leaned down, her voice ice–cold. “Apologize.”
Meredith choked, “I’m sorry–I’m sorry! I was wrong, Okay?!”
“Pathetic,” Jasmine growled.
“Then you try getting yanked by the scalp!” Meredith screamed back.
Valerie finally let go, but the hair she’d pulled out was horrifying.
Meredith collapsed into tears–red–faced, sniffling, and humiliated.
There were already people crowding the hallway outside. One brave soul knocked and called in, “Hey, don’t fight! You’re all in the same dorm.”
Valerie reached out and gently patted Meredith’s head like a dog. Then she turned to Jasmine. “Apologize. And clean this mess up.”
Jasmine scoffed. “Says who?”
Adrienne, for once, didn’t back down. “Because you two made the mess. When Valerie left, everything was spotless. This is all your doing.”
Meredith glanced over, ready to strike again–only to find Valerie’s sharp, mocking gaze already on her. She froze.
Valerie wasn’t the same girl anymore.
That gentle, soft–spoken Valerie had disappeared. In her place was someone terrifying.
Meredith broke down again and started tidying up through her tears.
Truthfully, Valerie’s side of the room wasn’t that bad–just a few scattered clothes and trash. But still, the damage was done.
Valerie watched, satisfied.
She knew who to target first.

Jasmine had more attitude and came from a somewhat better–off family, but without backup, she couldn’t stand her ground.
Meredith was a coward, all bark and no bite.
Break one, and the other would fall in line.
Adrienne looked at Valérie with awe, her eyes gleaming like she was staring at a superhero. She’s changed so much… and I love it.
But Valerie wasn’t done.
Once the cleaning was done, she pulled out her phone and made a call.
Within minutes, two custodians arrived–and promptly threw everything Jasmine and Meredith had just picked up straight into the trash.
Both girls were speechless. Jasmine exploded. “Valerie! What the hell are you doing?!”
Valerie replied calmly, “It’s all been contaminated. I’ll replace it.”
Jasmine’s face darkened. “Why didn’t you just say that earlier?! We wouldn’t have cleaned a damn thing! You did this on purpose!”
Valerie arched a brow, lips curling into a smirk. “And if I did?”
Jasmine was stunned into silence.
Meredith’s tears started flowing again, overwhelmed with humiliation.
Adrienne scoffed. “You two wrecked her stuff, played the victim, and now you’re upset over cleaning up? Seriously?”
Meredith’shot her a murderous glare but couldn’t say a word.
