Lily liked watching the flowers from the
gazebo.”
I nodded, and put the dirt back.
I’m glad he came back late.
“Why are you home? Shouldn’t you be at
work?”
“Dad forgot something. And my meeting was
closer to home.”
I heard some kids laughing and Chad
groaned.
“Kids are annoying. They always throw rocks.
They hit Mrs., Zhou’s dog yesterday…”
