The misty steam filled the ail, enveloping the sensual scene in the bathtub, resembling a painting of a beautiful fairy from another world.
The beauty in the scene was delicate and pitiful, with tears on her face as she clung desperately to the edge of the tub, as if it were a lifeline for a drowning soul. She cried out, “The little mushroom doesn’t taste good, don’t cook me…”
Camille, looking helpless, heard footsteps approaching from behind. She turned to see Aiden, and her eyes widened in surprise. “Aiden, how did you?”
Aiden glanced at the servant who had followed him in, and Camille immediately understood. Frustrated, she snapped, “Who told you to disturb Mr. Walker? Mind your own business.”
The servant shrank back, too afraid to say a word.
Aiden’s eyes flicked over to the woman in the tub, her cries echoing through the room. He felt a headache coming on. “Out,” he ordered coldly. “I‘
handle it.”
Camille, still flustered, quickly protested, “No, I’ll take care of it. It’s fine.”
But Aiden ignored her and walked straight up to Valerie. “Have you had your fun?”

Valerie, still sobbing with her face buried in her hands, vaguely recognized the voice. She turned her head.
Aiden’s gaze softened as he saw her, her face streaked with tears, her eyes puffy and red like a rabbit’s, her cheeks flushed with the remnants of her sobbing, and her lips pouted in a way that made her look utterly pitiful.
His stern expression softened, and without thinking, he reached out and pinched her soft, rosy cheek. “Little drunkard.”
Valerie sniffled, still sounding hoarse from crying. “Don’t cook the little mushroom…” she whimpered.
Aiden raised an eyebrow, amused. “You’re the little mushroom?”
“Mm–hmm.”
Aiden couldn’t help but chuckle, shaking his head lightly. “How did the little mushroom end up here?”
Valerie, still struggling to keep her eyes open, muttered through her tears, “I was a little fairy, but then I met the big bad wolf, and he turned me into a mushroom and threw me into the pot… Help! I don’t want to be eaten, I’m a little fairy, not a mushroom…”
Her drunken rambling made Camille burst into laughter, despite the absurdity of the situation.
Aiden, too, let out a soft chuckle, the tenderness in his voice a rare sound. “Alright, alright, I’m not going to eat you.”
Valerie, still dazed, tilted her head to the side. “Really?”
“Really.”
With those words, Valerie’s body relaxed, and to everyone’s surprise, she slumped back against the edge of the tub, her eyes fluttering shut as she began
to doze off.
Aiden couldn’t help but laugh. He bent down slightly, gently tapping her arm. “Get up.”
Valerie, still half asleep, groggily looked at him before closing her eyes again.
Aiden sighed in exasperation, reaching down and lifting Valerie out of the water. The splash of water hit him, soaking him through.
Camille, ever prepared, quickly grabbed a towel and wrapped it around Valerie’s body. “Aiden, you really know how to handle this. I’ll go prepare some lemon honey water, and leave the rest to you.”

Aiden nodded.
Camille swiftly instructed the others to leave the room.
Valerie, still in a daze, heard voices overhead and blinked in confusion, looking up. She stared at Aiden, her face suddenly panicked. “The big bad wolly

“The big bad wolf is…” Valerie’s words trailed off as she tilted her head again, looking uncomfortable. She pushed against him weakly, saying, “It’s so
cold…”
Aiden, already soaked to the bone, quickly removed his shirt and tossed it aside before leaning over her again, his body covering hers for warmth. “What about now?” he whispered, his voice soft and soothing.
Valerie, still disoriented, muttered, “You’re cooking me now.”
She whimpered, “Why can’t you let me go… after all this…”
When Valerie finally woke up, the morning light was already streaming in through the windows.
She stared at the ceiling, her fingers moving slightly, feeling the weight of her body, aching and sore.
Before she could fully process what had happened, a strong arm wrapped around her from behind.
