The day before Jason went to prison

Brittany tried to run away

Jason said she had to take care of the kid

Brittany told Jason the truth

Our kid died a long time ago. I stole this one

from the hospital. I’m not going to run away

with a baby.”

Jason was shocked

Brittany confessed: When we went to LA,

didn’t know how to take care of a kid. The kid

pooped everywhere. I was going to give him

bath, but it was cold. So I filled a big pot with

hot water. I went to make rice, and the kid

boiled to death.”

She was terrified

She sat there, crying

When Jason came home, he smelled meat. He

saw the pot and ate a bowl

He told Brittany it tasted good

Brittany ran away

She ended up at the hospital

She saw a girl leave her baby

She took it home

Then she acted like nothing happened

But the kid didn’t look like her kid

She had nightmares

She blamed Jason

She ran away

She went to work

She was so beautiful

Men wanted her

She met another man

He wasn’t like Jason

But he had money

She became the woman she hated

Then she saw Jason on TV. She ran back to

him

Jason didn’t care

He let her come back

But he called my name every night

She stayed with him

。

He was her best choice

But then he messed up

He forced her to take care of the kid

She snapped

Jason killed her

Then he killed himself

The kid went to an orphanage

Jason’s parents were in prison

We kept it from them

But how long could we hide it

My mom said: You can’t care too much. You

have to relax.”

I stared at the case files

My mom hugged me

You’ve never given me any trouble, she said

I’m so lucky to have you. But you’re too

good. It breaks my heart.”

I don’t want you to carry the world on your

shoulders. If you’re suffering, tell me. I’ll

always be here for you.”

I hugged her back

She knew what was going on

I had been working so hard

I had been so focused

Jason was my goal. I joined the military for

him. I became a judge for him

I had been waiting for this

Now it was over

I told my mom: It’s over. It’s finally over.”

We would be happy
