Chapter 9
On the day Alyssa was discharged from the hospital, Austin did not show up. He only sent her a message saying he couldn’t make it today and asked the driver to pick her up.
She didn’t reply because she had already received a message from Maggie before that, a photo in which Austin, dressed in a suit and leather shoes, showed no sign of the demeanor of a CEO of a listed company, personally helping Maggie pack her luggage.
Along with the photo, there was also a sentence.
“Don’t wait, he was going to take me and the baby home today.”
Alyssa didn’t wait for anyone and returned to the villa alone after packing up
Since that day, Maggie’s messages have been like an inescapable band-aid, one every day, without interruption.
Either send her a photo of Austin massaging her legs, or send her a photo of him peeling shrimp for
her, or send her a photo of their ambiguous entanglement in the office…
Whenever I posted a photo, and saw that she hadn’t responded for a long time, I would be a little impatient and angrily ask her, “Alyona, aby don’t you reply to me? why don’t you question Austin? Can you really tolerate this? Our child is going to be born in a few months, and you can still act like you don’t know anything?”
Alyssa, however, remained silent
She printed out all the photos sent by Maggie one by one, and then wrote down her thoughts on the
back of each photo.
“On the first day, she posted the photo of them kissing under the cherry blossom tree. That year, he confessed his love to me under the cherry blossom tree. He confessed 78 times, and I rejected him 78 times. Everyone said I was heartless, but that was because I was afraid of choosing the wrong person. Physical wounds can heal, but a broken heart can never fully recover. I was afraid of losing Now it seems that I did choose wrong. Austin, you made me lose completely.”
the next day, she sent them a photo of them watching fireworks together, with him putting a ring on her finger under the fireworks. When he was seventeen, he said that fireworks should only be watched with someone you like, and rings should only be given to someone you like. But at twenty-seven, he had completely forgotten.”
“On the third day, she sent me a photo of them being intimate together. If he had told me that he had feelings for someone else, I would have been sad, I would have been upset, but I definitely
wouldn’t have been clingy. He shouldn’t have lied to me, Austin, my heart hurts so much, it hurts
so much, so I have to leave.”

On the seventh day, Alyssa and the lawyer discussed and drafted the divorce agreement.
She put the photos printed out these days, the bed scene video recorded before, and a signed divorce agreement letter into a gift box.
At the moment when she closed the gift box, her phone suddenly rang.
“Alyssa, your personal information has been completely destroyed. From this moment on, in this
world, there is no longer a person named Alyssa.”
Until this moment, a hint of relief finally appeared on her pale face.
“Thank you for helping me destroy everything.”
The next second, the door was suddenly pushed open.
“What was destroyed?”

She turned around and saw Austin, who she hadn’t seen for many days, standing at the door.
Fortunately, he probably didn’t hear it all. Just now, that sentence should have been just a casual question, so she lightly tugged at her lips and said, “It’s nothing, you heard it wrong.”
Austin didn’t ask much, he just reached out his long arms and pulled her into his arms, “Sorry sweetheart, I haven’t been able to spend much time with you lately. Once things settle down, we’ll
have more time together.”
He was kissing her hair tenderly, but she suddenly thought of the photos Maggie had recently sent her of Austin accompanying her to buy parent-child outfits, and her eyes were filled with mockery.
“Since you were busy, how come you suddenly came back today?”
Austin scratched her nose and said, “You forgot, tomorrow is our wedding anniversary, I have
prepared a big surprise for you.”
Alyssa shook her head and handed him the gift box beside her, “I didn’t forget, I also prepared a big
surprise for you.”
Upon hearing her words, a look of surprise flashed in Austin’s eyes, and he was about to eagerly open it, but just then, the phone rang.

In the blink of an eye, she saw Maggie’s name clearly light up on the screen.
One minute later, he hung up the phone and walked over.
“Sweetheart, there is something going on at work…”
She seemed to have anticipated it long ago, calm and without any retention, “Business is important, you go first.”
Upon hearing this, Austin was taken aback.
If in the past he had not spent much time with her, and just as he finally came back he had to leave
in a hurry, even though she would say that work was important and wouldn’t stop him from going out, she wouldn’t be so calm.
But he remembered what Maggie had just said on the phone, hesitated for a moment, and still chose to leave. “Alyssa, I’ll be back soon, and then we can exchange surprises.”
Watching his receding figure, she did not try to stop him.
She didn’t know if his gift surprised her, but her gift must have been enough to surprise him.
After Austin’s car had completely gone, Alyssa turned around and went back to the room to take out her luggage that she had packed long ago.
The suitcase was not heavy, and the noise she made when she left with the suitcase was not loud
either. It wasn’t until she got in the car and left the villa that she didn’t disturb the servants inside
the villa.
Through the car window, that home gradually disappeared from her sight. At the moment when the car drove away completely, she turned back as if sensing something, and in a daze, it seemed like she saw seventeen-year-old Austin standing there with tears in his eyes.
He looked at her with a gentle expression and said, “Sweetheart, don’t forgive him, don’t look
back.”
She looked away, smiled with red eyes, and didn’t look back anymore.
