Officer Nolan, to whom I had talked on my cell phone, barged into the room, his fully armed squad amused me. They were all prepared for some sort of critical task. Little did they know that a crack–headed man was wasting their time for his lost glory.

A series of startled gasps resonated in the room as both Bright and officer Nolan thought that Felix was going to attack me. His ablaze eyes threw fiery daggers at Bright as he snarled at him.

Felix’s obsessive speech ran a chill down my spine, I was stumped for a moment. From day one, Felix was a strong–minded person with the intelligence of Sheldon Cooper, he wasn’t someone who could lose his mind easily. But now looking at him, I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Felix drove a punch into the wall, injuring his hand, his continuous begging confused me.
