Thaddeus glared at Archer’s hands on me, his voice rising with fury.
“What the hell, Selena! You’d damn well better explain what the fuck is going on here!”
I replied impatiently,
“Is an explanation really necessary? We broke up, remember?”
Thaddeus’s face instantly turned ugly, followed by a cold laugh,
“Some breakup! Did I agree to it?! And even if we did break up, you couldn’t wait even a day before finding a bastard to make sex? Selena,did our five years together mean nothing to you?”
Violet dramatically gasped beside him,
‘Oh my God! Selena even if you’re upset with Thaddeus, you don’t have to… have so shamless! Aren’t you just making a fool of yourself?”
They were the ones who cheated first, yet somehow I was in the wrong.
Being in a public place, I didn’t want to make a chaos and was about to leave with Archer.
3ut Violet clearly had no intention of miss this perfect opportunity.
She blocked our path, deliberately raising her voice,

My hands started trembling involuntarily, gripping my sleeves tightly.
Archer noticed my discomfort and whispered reassuringly, “Don’t worry,baby.”

The Reynolds heir wasn’t known for his good temper. He’d only held back so far because of my warning glances.
Now, seeing me like this, he could no longer contain his anger.
He stepped forward and landed a solid punch directly on Thaddeus’s face.
Caught off guard, Thaddeus fell heavily to the floor.
“Thaddeus!”
Violet screamed, rushing to him in tears.
“Selena we only said a few words to you. How could you let your… your man use of violence!”
Thaddeus licked the blood from his lip and was about to get up for retaliation when Archer kicked
him back down.
Archer pulled our marriage certificate from his pocket and thrust it in front of Thaddeus’s face.
“Look carefully! Selenaand I are legally married. Keep insulting us with that filthy mouth of yours, and you’ll be hearing from my lawyers!”
Thaddeus froze momentarily, then reached out to grab the certificate.
Archer swiftly pulled it back, smirking,
“What’s wrong? Doesn’t Dr. Blake recognize an official document?”
“Anyone can buy fake certificates. You think I’d believe that?”
Then Thaddeus looked at me and barked,
“Selena get over here now! Do you really want to keep embarrassing yourself with him?”
Just then, Violet suddenly clutched her stomach and cried out in agony“Thaddeus… my belly…. hurts
so bad…”
Thaddeus hurriedly went to check on her.
Taking advantage of the distraction, Archer pulled me quickly away from the crowd.

As we were about to exit the mall, I gradually calmed down.
Looking up, I noticed the contact number on a mall advertisement display.WONDERFUL IDEA!
A few minutes later, the intimate video Violet had sent me began playing simultaneously on over a dozen large screens throughout the mall.
Though Thaddeus quickly had someone cut the feed, the video had already gone viral online.
Within an hour, they had dug up all their personal information.
As the situation continued to escalate, Thaddeus desperately tried to suppress the news, but as soon as one trend died down, more revelations would explore..
Soon, Thaddeus was suspended from both the hospital and university, and Violet was expelled.
Helpful people also discovered that Violet’s undergraduate medical degree was from an unaccredited foreign university–she had never been qualified for the special training program at the medical school.
Reading these updates, I looked up at the man casually savoring his wine across from me,
“This ‘helpful people‘ continuously leaking information wouldn’t happen to be you, would it, Mr. Reynolds?”
He set down his wine glass nonchalantly,
“I pursued you for years before finally becoming your husband, and he dares call me ‘bastard“? Huh!I’ll hold that grudge till I’m dead.”
I couldn’t help but laugh.
Despite Archer’s refined, handsome appearance, he always spoke with a certain street–smart edge.
No wonder I ignored his advances all those years. I always thought he was just kidding me.
