On the way to get the marriage certificate, I racked my brains.
I picked the question I most wanted to know, “Don’t you like Amber?”
Marcus didn’t seem to care much, “I never planned to get back together with Amber.”
I remembered what Mrs. Grant had said before and hesitantly said: “Then your mom…”
“Oh, she has a vivid imagination, just like you.”
I pouted and lowered my head to think of the next question.
Suddenly, an unfriendly gaze looked over.
I turned my head.
A not–so–unfamiliar police officer was staring at us, smiling evilly.
He waved his handcuffs and shouted at me, “I saw you staring at his butt for half the day.
I almost cuffed you.”
“But you really managed to catch him,” he gave me an approving look, “Not bad.”
I was clearly looking at the ground.
I turned my head.
Marcus was looking at me leisurely, “Darling, don’t be so thirsty. It’ll all be yours sooner or
later.”

He took my hand and walked faster, “So don’t hesitate, let’s go get the marriage
certificate.”
“I didn’t!”
“Don’t slander me!

But he couldn’t hear me and walked even faster.
Extra Chapter 1
As the final exams were approaching. I had no energy to care about anything else and dove headfirst into the sea of knowledge.
Stating in an empty classroom, I was studying math until my head was in a fog.
At this time, a voice came from behind.
“Do you not like math?”
I angrily said: ‘Demn calculus, I swear I’ll never get along with it!”
“Do you hate the math teacher too?”
1 was stunned. Who would ask this out of nowhere?
I turned around, and sure enough, Marcus’s smug face appeared in front of me.
I saw he was recording, and immediately said, “I love the math teacher very much! Stop recording, don’t try to get dirt on me!”
After that day, every math class became my nightmare. The teacher called on me eight
hundred times in one class.
After class, she even called me over and patted my head saying: “Although you only got 28 points this time, the teacher has high hopes for you. Keep it up~”
“By the way, I’m free tonight. Would you like to come to my house for math tutoring?”
Looking at her expectant eyes, a sentence flashed through my mind, “I love the math
teacher very much!”
Extra Chapter 2
On a fine afternoon, Marcus suddenly realized that Lily’s advisor looked familiar.
So.
Lily’s advisor sat in the coffee shop, almost spitting out his coffee, “You’re saying you
want me to steal the first authorship of her shitty thesis?”
“It’s just a joke, come on.”
“This isn’t a joke, this is threatening my research career.”
Marcus’s expression didn’t change as he leaned back slightly.
“My advisor is currently researching high–temperature superconductors. I can persuade him to let you participate in the experiment.”
Lily’s advisor immediately slapped the table, “It’s a deal then.”
