The Frazier family didn’t say a word, they roughly grabbed her and took her away. Vanessa didn’t dare to struggle or call for help, she just let them drag her away, disappearing into the darkness of the night.

Jasmin always lagged behind, her heart pounding. She watched as her mother was taken away, resisting the urge to leave.
But she thought, Theron, if Theron’s position was taken away, she wouldn’t be a professor’s sister anymore, how could she marry a city person?
So, gritting my teeth, overcoming the fear in my heart, I quietly followed along.
They arrived at the small grove in no time, and the Frazier family members pushed Vanessa to a tree.
Vanessa wanted to share her plan, but her mouth was covered, so she had to rely on Jasmin.

The Frazier family’s footsteps paused, they looked at each other, hesitating.
They are fugitives now, the last thing they want is to alert the police. If they don’t rescue the child, they will end up in trouble themselves.

Although the Howland family talked tough, Jasmin watched their expressions and saw that they seemed to be taking it in. Their tone softened a bit, with a hint of persuasion.
