Jasmin was fast asleep, didn’t hear a thing.
She didn’t dare to close her eyes, afraid that if she did, those two fierce and evil men would appear in front of her bed.

Theron figured out a way to transfer Vanessa to Equinox Hospital as a military dependent, so she could share a room with Johanna. It would be safer and easier to take care of her that way.
Vanessa was taken to Equinox Hospital, she was supported by Jasmin as they walked into the ward.
When her eyes scanned the ward and landed on one of the beds, she froze.
“Johanna? What’s wrong with you?” Vanessa stood up and quickly walked to Johanna’s bed.
Johanna was lying in bed when she heard Vanessa’s voice. She raised her pale face, looking fragile and broken, “Madam Howland…”
Vanessa reached out and held her down, “Don’t move, why are you so.

Johanna’s lips moved as if holding back tears, “I accidentally fell down.”
Vanessa heard this and her heart skipped a beat.
“The doctor told me to rest in bed more.”
Vanessa was really upset, no wonder Johanna didn’t come to see her, turns out she was too busy with herself.

Vanessa tucked Johanna in and said, “Listen to the doctor, with me and Theron looking after you, everything will be fine.”
Johanna bit her lip and nodded slightly.
“You lie down properly and don’t move. Your lips are so dry, do you want some water? I’ll pour you some.”
Johanna first looked down shyly, then nodded.
She got busy and immediately went to pour water.
After Johanna finished drinking water, she asked kindly. “Are you hungry? Do you want to cat something, just tell me.”
Theron watched her spinning around Johanna, not feeling uncomfortable or scared, his tense nerves relaxing slightly.
Vanessa had things to do, which helped distract her attention, which was better than being constantly immersed in fear.
And Johanna, in her current condition, really needed someone to take care of her.

He sorted things out here and made sure Vanessa wouldn’t cause any more trouble for now.
“Mom, you stay here to rest and recover, I’ll head back first.” He took a leave of absence and has taken quite a few recently, so he needs to go back as soon as possible.

“She’s already like this, when are you going to give Johanna a title?”
Theron raised his hand and pressed his forehead, “Mom, don’t worry about this.”
If he had proposed to Johanna, he would have had no chance with Lizzie at all.
“What are you talking about? Do you want Johanna to just follow you around with no name or status? What about the child? Without a marriage certificate, how is she going to have a baby? Do you want her child to be forever criticized as a fatherless wild child?”
Theron’s eyes darkened, he couldn’t let Efren’s child be insulted like

Vanessa also wanted to say that two people in uniforms walked over.
Theron and Vanessa took a step back to let them pass, and then they stopped and gave a nod to Theron.
