Later, they dragged Vanessa to a small grove outside the office area.
On a chilly winter night, the cold wind was biting.
Vanessa was gagged, tied to a bare tree, shivering from the cold, her teeth chattering non–stop.
She was tied up and left freezing all night long.
Theron returned to the office only after Johanna’s situation had stabilized.
He just found out from the reporter that Vanessa has been looking for him these days, seems very urgent.
Theron nodded with a cold expression, “Okay, got it.”
He stayed in the hospital for two days and he was really tired. Taking care of patients in the hospital is even more tiring than going to battle.
So, he didn’t rush to Redstar Hostel right away, instead he gave Redstar Hostel a call.
Anyway, Vanessa was staying at Redstar Hostel, so there wasn’t anything urgent.
The phone rang at Redstar Hostel, and the person at Redstar Hostel answered first. When she heard it was Theron, she went “Oh!”

Theron called out twice, but no one answered him. He told the operator and then immediately rushed to Redstar Hostel.
When Theron arrived! Jasmin had already taken Vanessa to the hospital with the help of people at Redstar Hostel.
Theron arrived at the hospital, and then called the police.

This is the city, not the countryside where whoever has a strong list. acts tough and gets away with it. They learned their lesson from Alvaro and Brycen’s downfall.
When they kidnapped Vanessa, they were very sneaky, and there wasn’t a single witness throughout the whole process.
After they took Vanessa away, they beat her in places that wouldn’t easily show bruises, and then they tied her up outside in the cold.

The doctor checked and just said she caught a cold, her body was a bit hypothermic, just need to rest for a while.

After Theron sorted things out, when he returned to the ward, Vanessa grabbed his hand, her eyes red with anger, and said bitterly, “Theron, you need to catch them all! Throw them in jail! Get revenge for me! I almost froze to death outside today!”
Vanessa didn’t reflect at all on the trouble she caused, she just felt like others were in the wrong.
